Privacy Policy

In short: Label Blend is built as an offline-first desktop application. Your images, datasets, annotations, and projects stay on your own computer unless you explicitly choose to export or share them. Nothing is uploaded to VermaAgentix servers by default.

01Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Label Blend ("the Software"), developed by VermaAgentix, collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the application. By using Label Blend, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

02Information We Collect

Label Blend does not require a user account and does not intentionally collect personal information while the software is used offline.

Specifically, the application does not collect:

—Advertising identifiers

03Images & Datasets

Label Blend processes images, annotations, datasets, and project files locally on your computer.

—Your original images remain yours.
—Your generated datasets remain yours.
—Your annotations remain yours.
—Your exported files remain yours.

04AI-Assisted Annotation

Label Blend includes AI-assisted features that help generate synthetic datasets and perform annotation assistance, object labeling, image processing, and segmentation. These features are powered in part by Meta's open-source Segment Anything Model (SAM), which runs locally as part of the application to help identify and outline objects in your images.

AI-generated results, including automatically suggested masks and labels, are intended as assistance only. You remain responsible for reviewing and validating generated annotations before relying on them in research, training, or production use.

05Internet Connectivity

The core functionality of Label Blend, including SAM-based annotation, works completely offline.

Any future optional online features will clearly indicate when an internet connection is required before it is used.

06Data Storage

Application settings, projects, generated datasets, and annotations are stored locally on your computer.

You are responsible for maintaining backups of your own data.

07Third-Party Components

Label Blend uses open-source software libraries and models to provide its functionality, including Meta's Segment Anything Model (SAM). These components are governed by their respective open-source licenses, and their use within Label Blend does not transmit your images or data to any third party.

08Children's Privacy

Label Blend is intended for developers, researchers, students, educators, and professionals working with computer vision datasets.

The application is not specifically intended for children under 13 years of age.

09Security

Reasonable measures are taken to develop and distribute Label Blend securely. However, no software system can guarantee absolute security.

10Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page.
